It's June already, time flies so fast when you have a baby ;) Months seem to be passing with the speed of light and I couldn't find time to take out my trusty markers. Seriously, I missed them so much. Luckily last week I was able to start on this little grumpy Octo-dude and finished it today.

Okay, time for a little update regarding Fern Flower animation - I've got two (of three) puppets done with all bits and bobs on separeted layers and can start animating soon. Just need to finish last one.. and paint backgrounds and props. Still so much work to do, but, believe it or not, I'm having so much fun making it :)

#21Days Challenge

Few days ago Noah Bradley launched a #21days challenge. The goal is to get you into a habit of drawing everyday and, ofcourse, improve. And I should be doing master studies but you know I like to add a little twist to the things. Plus I just want to get back into a daily drawing habit (which is hard since Alice arrived). So, for now, my personal goal is to just produce something. Sketch, finished drawing, traditional, digital - doesn't matter. Below are first 3 days and, unfortunately, on the second day I was only able to work on my college assesment. Oh well, it still counts :)

Back to my alien creatures, time for a full body concepts. After I'm done with monk and warrior guys, there is their fantasy town to design. I'm starting to wonder if it should be made into a simple Unity game level?

Playing around copic markers again, just a quick sketches done yesterday for fun :) I'm not going to lie, I always wanted to have a owl OC.. and it's happening now :) Baby Fox and Smarty Owl goes to the same school and I should really work a bit on their back stories and stuff.
